Driven by the loss of my grandfather to cancer, I pursued a PhD focused on cellular signaling pathways, investigating the intricate network of molecular signals regulating cell behavior. Cellular pathways can be targeted to selectively eliminate cancer cells, potentially leading to more effective therapies.
