Back the Gray in May

Hey there! Did you know that May is National Brain Tumor Awareness Month? It's a month dedicated to raising awareness about brain tumors, including primary central nervous system (CNS) tumors, which can be challenging to diagnose and treat due to their rarity. Around 25,000 people are diagnosed with primary CNS cancer every year in the United States.

Kelsey Tanish, a motivational speaker and two-time survivor of brain cancer, shared her inspiring story at the recent Oncology Nursing Society Congress. Kelsey was a world-class athlete when she was diagnosed with brain cancer for the second time. To know more about Kelsey and her journey, you can visit her website: https://kelseytainsh.com/.

Personalized care and advanced research are critical to improving the lives and outcomes of people facing brain cancer. The molecular scientists and oncology nurses at Cancer Help Desk, work together to provide people with brain cancer and their loved ones with treatment options and resources they may not know about.
