Breaking Barriers in Oncology: TTFields from Brain to Pancreatic Cancer

Contact us today to learn if any of the trials below could be right for you.

Phase II study investigating the use of Tumor Treating Fields used in combination with chemotherapy for people with pancreatic cancer that has not spread (localized) and are candidates for surgical resection.

Phase II study investigating the use of Tumor Treating Fields and radiation therapy after treatment with chemotherapy in people with locally advanced pancreatic cancer.

Phase 1/1b study investigating chemotherapy plus Tumor Treatment Fields (TTF) for treatment and maintenance therapy in people with pancreatic cancer that has spread to the liver or other parts of the body (except brain).

Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) are a type of cancer treatment that uses electric fields to disrupt the division of cancer cells. This interference can slow down or stop cancer cells from multiplying, which helps control tumor growth. TTFields are applied to the body where the tumor is located using an external device that is portable, lightweight, and battery-operated

Adhesive patches are attached to the abdomen. These patches, deliver the TTFields directly to the tumor in a non-invasive way. The device is designed to be used continuously at home.

Currently, TTF therapy for pancreatic cancer is experimental and hasn't been approved by the U.S. FDA. Its safety and effectiveness are still being studied. However, TTFields therapy is already approved for certain types of brain cancer and recently gained FDA clearance for use in treating liver cancer.
