In honor of those who fight the fight but "don't have time for this sh*t" known as cancer.--
Driven by the loss of my grandfather to cancer, I pursued a PhD focused on cellular signaling pathways, investigating the intricate network of molecular signals regulating cell behavior. Cellular pathways can be targeted to selectively eliminate cancer cells, potentially leading to more effective therapies.
I care because I have lost several family members to cancer, most recently my sister who lost her short, but valiant battle with small cell lung cancer. I want to help others get the answers and resources they need to battle cancer successfully.
While my contribution is small, it comes with immense respect and admiration for those facing cancer; your strength, resilience, and courage inspire us all to do what we can to support you.
